books I read this month

Everything I Read in November 2025

Slow month!

Smoke and Whispers by Mick Herron (a little slow)

Wherever She Goes by Kelley Armstrong (uneven)

Wreck by Catherine Newman (disappointing)

The House on Buzzards Bay by Dwyer Murphy (possibly the worst book of the year. It read like four books stitched together by a child.)

Final Cut by Olivia Worley (ok)

Me, But Better: The Science and Promise of Personality Change by Olga Khazan (Just as insufferable in the beginning as in the end)

The Uncool: A Memoir by Cameron Crowe (worth it just for the stories about his mom)

The Keeper by Tana French (I’m tired of this town and of Cal)

Listen: A Novel by Sacha Bronwasser (what was the point?)

The Liar’s Bones by Morag Pringle (ok)

Party of Liars by Kelsey Cox (ok)

All Her Fault by Andrea Mara (getting ahead of the show, fun)

The Highland Dead by Morag Pringle (not great)

Bad Bad Girl by Gish Jen (stressful)

The Final Truth by Morag Pringle (bad)
