Oddly having some issues posting so here we go! All 26 books I read in July 2026.
You Let Me In by Lucy Clarke (what a loon)
Redbelly Crossing: A Novel by Candice Fox (fun aside about animal rescue)
Retro: A Novel by Jessica M. Goldstein (fun!)
Queenie Is Working on It by Candice Carty-Williams (cute but frustrating)
Backstabbers by Eliza Jabore (why would you go anywhere with these people?)
The Spin by Faith Gardner (disappointing)
The Ending Writes Itself by Evelyn Clarke (bad)
As Far as She Knew: A Novel by Diana Awad (cute but some weird mistakes)
The Make-Believe: A Memoir of Magic and Madness by Hannah Murray (harrowing)
The Fine Art of Lying by Alexandra Andrews (slow)
The Neighbors Are Watching by Aggie Blum Thompson (always good to read about Maryland)
Actress of a Certain Age: My Twenty-Year Trail to Overnight Success by Jeff Hiller (I wish he knew he was going to be in Widows Bay!)
The Mysterious Affair of Judith Potts by Robert Thorogood (I hope this is the last in the series—also the audiobook was missing some chapters)
One Click by Andrea Mara (not bad but too long)
The Season of Sinking by Daphne Woolsoncroft (not great)
Chosen Family by Madeleine Gray (why would you keep being friends with this woman?)
No Rest for the Wicked by Rachel Louise Adams (overly long and strangely crass in parts)
Scary Movie Night: A Novel by Miranda Smith (bad)
Perfect Life: A Novel by Meredith Lavender and Kendall Shores (cute)
To Anyone Who Ever Asks: The Life, Music, and Mystery of Connie Converse by Howard Fishman (shame it was written by him, has he ever met a woman?)
Night Watcher by Daphne Woolsoncroft (corny)
The Counting Game: A Novel by Sinéad Nolan (fun but the ages of the kids felt a little off)
With Friends Like You: A Novel by Amy Chozick (not great)
So, I Met This Guy… by Alexandra Potter (cute but the author acted like a 50 yr old doesn’t understand phones and apps which is weird because the author must be older than that)
The Wicker Husband by Ursula Wills-Jones (cute)
Strangers Behind Closed Doors: A Novel by
Catherine Adel West (seemed to largely be setting up a sequel)
