Slow month for me! Bizarrely two books were called Hide and Seek this month.
The Night Hunter by Natalie Moss (fun setting)
The Man by Laura Sims (creepy!)
What Happens in the Dark by Kia Abdullah (seemed to be setting up for a sequel)
Dangerous, Dirty, Violent, and Young: A Fugitive Family in the Revolutionary Underground by Zayd Ayers Dohrn (filled in some gaps I had always wondered about)
The Yahoo Boys: Love, Deception, and the Real Lives of Nigeria’s Romance Scammers by Carlos Barragán (interesting, the afterward covered some technical info about writing the book that should have been woven in the whole time)
Catch the Devil: A True Story of Murder, Deception, and Injustice on the Gulf Coast by Pamela Colloff (lots of research)
Hide and Seek by Andrea Mara (fun)
A Girl’s Girl by Emma Robertson (not much happened)
The Daughter by Michelle Frances (not what I expected but well done)
Hide And Seek by Søren Sveistrup with Ian Giles (Translator) (I didn’t realize this was the second book)
Doll Parts: A Novel by Penny Zang (unexpected Baltimore setting)
The Chestnut Man by Søren Sveistrup with Caroline Waight (Translator) (strangely similar to the second book and no mention of the brother who is a huge part of the second book)
Always Never by Jordi Lafebre (cute, French!)
Sunburn by Andi Watson (pretty but empty feeling)
The Temp by Michelle Frances (wild ride)
Furious Violet: A Novel by Sarai Walker (oddly slow)
